Who doesn't know Tony from MooMba Beach? The supervisor of the popular beach bar introduces his cocktail: Tony's Crush!
Tony's story...
Teun - or Tony - was born in the Netherlands. He moved here 12 years ago with his parents. When he finished school he had plans to go back to the Netherlands, but fell in love with the island (as so many people did before him). He worked at Fish and More, Nos Clubhuis, Hadicurari and finally found his spot at Moomba Beach. The reason why Teun enjoys bartending lifestyle is because of the interactions with guests. He says "the guests bring the bar to life with everyone having their own story". He gets excited when the guests' reactions reflects the effort put into his cocktails. The freedom behind the bar, making these drinks and the spectacular beach view are some of the other reasons he enjoys being a bartender.
The story behind this cocktail is that Teun created this drink for people who were asking him for a balanced drink. He created a cocktail that you can order at 12pm as well as at 6pm. He also wanted to add rum because Aruba is located in the Caribbean and therefore according to Teun, rum is the liquid Caribbean Spirit!

Ingredients:
· Watermelon pieces
· Lime juice
· Simple syrup
· Silver rum
· Cointreau
· Passion Fruit Passoa
Steps:
· Mix the watermelon slices with lime juice and simple syrup into the shaker.
· Add 3 counts of Rum, Cointreau, and the Passion fruit Passoa into the shaker.
· Add ice into shaker and shake!
· Pour into glass with crushed ice and add a dash of sprite.
